Cibulan Magical Waterpool

Cibulan Magical Pond is located in Kuningan, West Java, Indonesia. it was officially opened in August 27, 1939. This is a pond where you can swim with the god fish and find the seven magical wells.

There are two big rectangular ponds. The first pond is about 35 x 15 m and the second one is 45 x 15 m. Every pond is occupied by tens of God Fish or Kancra Bodas ranging from 20 cm to 1 meter. The color is blackish grey.

According to the people there, the god fish were, at first, the soldiers of King Prabu Siliwangi. They were disobedient and not loyal to the king. In short, they were finally cursed into the fish. The number of the fish is always the same. It does not increase or decrease. Magically, when the pond is drained, the fish will be disappeared. But, when it is refilled by water, the fish will return.

Besides the God Fish, the other uniqueness of Cibulan is the seven wells. Every well has different name which is taken based on the miracle that each well has. It is believed than when people drink water from every well, they can get the miracle.

The first well is The Well of Glory. It is believed that if people drink water in this well, they will reach the glory.

The second well is The Well of Magnificence. People will be magnificent and blessed by the god.

The third well is The Well of Grant. The miracle of this well is that the people who drink water in this well, their requests will be granted by the god.

The fourth well is The Well of Cisandane.

The Fifth well is The Well of Youthfulness. You will be young if you drink water here.

The sixth well is The Well of Safety. If you want to be safe, they say that you should drink water from this well.

The last well is The Well of Cirancana.

Finally, those are just what some people believe. Because everything is based on what god intend and what we do.
