Waduk Darma

Waduk Darma is located in Kuningan, West Java, Indonesia. It is about 425 ha and it has 39.000.000 m³ of water volume. Every day many people come to visit Waduk Darma. They come with different purposes. Some of them come to enjoy the beauty of Waduk Darma and breathe the fresh air there. Others come to spend a holiday, playing around or eating together. But, many of them come to meditate or do any spiritual activities there.

People around Waduk Darma believe that there are many mystic stories there. They absolutely believe that there are three islands which are named based on the mystery in each island. They are Nusa Goong, Nusa Sireum and Nusa Laja.

The first island, for example,  is Nusa Goong. It is about 2 ha. The name, for example, is taken due to an unanswered mystery happens there that every year, there is always sounds of Goong. Nobody knows who makes the sound.

Similar to the first island, the second island is named Nusa Laja. It is about 1 ha. Why this island is named Nusa Sireum is because most of people believe that there is the Kingdom of Ant on that island.

Besides, there are still many untold mysteries in Waduk Darma. Every year there is always at least one person drowned there. Many believe that it is because of mystic there. But many believe that it is just a matter of happening.
