text is a story with complication or problematic events and it tries to find
the resolutions to solve the problems.

purpose:
To amuse
or entertain the readers with actual or imaginary experience in difference
ways.
Generic
Structure:
Orientation:
introduces the characters of the story, the time and the place the story
happened (who or what were involved in the story, when and where).
Complications:
a problem arises and followed by other problems.
Resolution:
the solution to the problem.
Reorientation:
the conclusion of the story, optional.
Coda: the
moral lesson that we can learn from the story, optional.
Language
Features:
The use of
past simple.
Focus on
specific and individualized participants.

noun phrases (A beautiful princess, a huge temple).

connectives (First, before that, then, finally).

temporal conjunction and temporal circumstances.
